London Critics' Circle Film awards honored Slumdog Millionaire, Kate Winslet, and the Wrestler. Darren Aronofsky's the Wrestler surprised some by taking home Best Film. Slumdog Millionaire took home British film, British director and screenwriter of the year and Kate Winslet won for Best Actress of the year.
